A small charity making a big impact

Carers Trust Hillingdon & Ealing is based in Uxbridge and provides support services to unpaid carers who look after loved ones living with a disability, poor mental health, or addiction.

A carer is anyone — including children and adults — who provides unpaid regular care to a family member, partner, friend or neighbour who cannot manage without their help.

"Unpaid carers provide a lifeline to an already overwhelmed and underfunded social care sector."

We provide advice and information, wellbeing activities, emotional support, advocacy, weekly youth clubs, respite from caring responsibilities and much more.

Rising demand, falling funding

Post pandemic, there has been a marked increase in the number of unpaid carers presenting with more complex and overlapping needs. Many are managing heightened caring responsibilities alongside education or employment pressures and ongoing cost-of-living challenges.

Although we are fortunate to receive core funding from two local authorities, their reduced value is not enough to cover all of the vital services we provide. Without valuable grant funding and donations from our supporters it would not be possible for us to deliver our wide portfolio of services.

Your support is both welcomed and needed.

Fundraising

We can demonstrate exactly what any funds raised can deliver, so your team can feel motivated and rewarded by the genuine difference they are making. Options include asking clients to add a small donation to their invoice, sponsored events, or a team quiz night.

Payroll Giving

Donating to charity directly from your payroll means staff don't pay tax on it — giving up to 40% more at no extra cost to them. Setting up a payroll giving scheme through an HMRC-approved agency is simple and provides us with a reliable, regular income.
