About Us
A small charity making a big impact
Carers Trust Hillingdon & Ealing is based in Uxbridge and provides support services to unpaid carers who look after loved ones living with a disability, poor mental health, or addiction.
A carer is anyone — including children and adults — who provides unpaid regular care to a family member, partner, friend or neighbour who cannot manage without their help.
We provide advice and information, wellbeing activities, emotional support, advocacy, weekly youth clubs, respite from caring responsibilities and much more.
Why We Need Your Support
Rising demand, falling funding
Post pandemic, there has been a marked increase in the number of unpaid carers presenting with more complex and overlapping needs. Many are managing heightened caring responsibilities alongside education or employment pressures and ongoing cost-of-living challenges.
Although we are fortunate to receive core funding from two local authorities, their reduced value is not enough to cover all of the vital services we provide. Without valuable grant funding and donations from our supporters it would not be possible for us to deliver our wide portfolio of services.
Your support is both welcomed and needed.
Partnership Opportunities
How your company can get involved
We can work with you to create a bespoke partnership that meets your company's objectives whilst supporting and empowering unpaid carers. Here are some of the ways we can work together.
Fundraising
We can demonstrate exactly what any funds raised can deliver, so your team can feel motivated and rewarded by the genuine difference they are making. Options include asking clients to add a small donation to their invoice, sponsored events, or a team quiz night.
Payroll Giving
Donating to charity directly from your payroll means staff don't pay tax on it — giving up to 40% more at no extra cost to them. Setting up a payroll giving scheme through an HMRC-approved agency is simple and provides us with a reliable, regular income.
Charity of the Year
A great way for your company to evidence social value by supporting a specific charity for a designated period. Partner with Carers Trust Hillingdon and Ealing to deliver sustainable benefits to our community of unpaid carers — and demonstrate your commitment to your local area.
Volunteering
Offer your staff meaningful volunteering opportunities — from supporting our youth club sessions and annual residential trips, to assisting at our Carers Fair and Young Carers Action Day. Corporate volunteers can also provide work placements for our young adult carers.
Volunteering in Detail
Real opportunities, real impact
Our volunteering programme offers a range of structured, meaningful roles. Training, support and on-going guidance will be provided to all volunteers.

Young Adult Carers Club (18–25)
Fortnightly weekday evening sessions for young adult carers. Volunteers help facilitate social activities and peer support.
Events: Action Day & Carers Week
Young Carers Action Day (March) and National Carers Week (June) — help set up stalls, serve refreshments, and assist with entertainment at our Carers Fair.
Work Placements & Skills Sharing
